You can group your devices dynamically. Dynamic grouping is a very powerful way to organize your endpoints

Dynamic grouping is especially interesting when you need to group a large number of devices

For this, you need to right click on the group in which you want to dynamically group devices

once you click on "Add Dynamic Group" you have a number of criterias you can select to group your devices:

The full criterias list includes the following values for grouping devices:

  • Active Network Address
  • Build Number
  • Computer Manufacturer
  • Computer Model
  • Network Address
  • DHCP
  • Operating System and Service Packs
  • Operating System name
  • Processor Architecture
  • Processor Cores
  • Processor Model
  • Incidents in progress
  • proVconnect Agent Version
  • Write Filter State
  • Write Filter Status
  • Tags 1 to 5

We need to stress the importance of the static and dynamic tags to help you customize the way your devices are grouped. A special section is dedicated to working with Tags here
