Deploy a file

This feature allows you to push any file from the proVconnect server's library into any remote end point 

Step 1: select the Deploy function and enter the path where you want to push the file into the remote system and click on select file to select the file in the library

Note that you can also select a file from a network path






Step 2: Once in the Library, select the file you want to push on the end points and then click on the select file button


Step 3: Once the file is selected click on add to queue


Step 4: go to the command queue tab and select de devices you want to push the file on and click on publish

Note that at this point you can save the task into the library if you want to use it again laterv

Step 5Name the task, select the publishing options. In this example we are publishing the task once and immediately on the selected device. click on publish



Step 6: once done, the task appears completed successfuly on one device






Step 7: the file has been uploaded in the right folder on the selected device



Retreive a file

This feature allows you to pull any file from a remote end point and store it into the proVconnect server's library 

Step 1: Select the retreive function and enter the path in which the document is located and add to queue





Step 2: go to the command queue tab and select de devices you want to retreive the file from and click on publish

Note that at this point you can save the task into the library if you want to use it again later

Step 3: Name the task, select the publishing options. In this example we are publishing the task once and immediately on the selected device. click on publish

Step 4: once done, the task appears completed successfuly on one device

Step 5: The file is present in the downloads section of the library, yo can then save it anywhere else

the Friendly Name field allows you to give a specific name for the command so you can find it easily
